Roles and Responsibilities
Project DevelopmentnC ontribute
to all aspects of 3D animation projects as required from storyboarding through modelling, texturing, and rigging, to animating, rendering and post-production.nCreate highly detailed and accurate 3D models of client products and equipment using technical drawing-based reference material, technical procedures and various other technical documentation and specifications provided by clients.nEmploy creativity to bring complex technical subject matter to life in a highly engaging manner.nAttend client meetings as required.
General ResponsibilitiesnProactively generate departmental improvement ideas and log them within the Design Improvement Idea Tracker.nAdhere to company’s policies and procedures.nProvide support to other departments within IKM Testing UK, as required.
Qualifications Required
Essential:nMinimum HND qualification in a relevant discipline.
Preferred:nHonours degree in relevant discipline.
Experience Required
Essential:nProficient in 3DS Max.nProficient in Adobe After Effects, Premiere and Photoshop.nGood
understanding of technical / engineering subject matter.nS trong
technical understanding of VFX pipeline and video production processes.nStrong project management skills.nPrevious experience working in a 3D Animation production role.nExcellent computer and digital media skills.
Preferred:nProficient in 3DS Max.nExperience using Vray.nExperience using Phoenix FD and tyFlow.nUnderstanding of latest rendering technologies and custom shader creation.nExperience with 3D VR and AR applications.nKnowledge of 3D interactive apps.
Personal Skills
Excellent organisational skillsnStrong communication skills (written and spoken).nAbility to work independently, take initiative and continually learn new skills.nHighly creative and artistic.nGood at collaborating with others / teamwork.nFlexible and adaptive.nHigh attention to detail.nAbility to work under pressure.
