UX Designer

Following a period of significant success and investment, our award-winning client is looking for a UX Designer to join their digital team and drive the evolution of the online customer journey and feed into the overall commercial growth of their websites. This is an ideal opportunity for a strategic thinker and creative problem-solver, who will play a pivotal role in shaping exceptional digital experiences.
Given the wide-reaching impact of a role like this, it’s expected that the UX Designer will be genuinely collaborative in nature and will regularly and proactively engage with stakeholders across the wider business. Our client is a fast-paced, ever-changing owner-led business, so a level of resilience and determination is key to success.

Role of UX Designer:
* Create intuitive workflows and interactions that guide users successfully through the websites with improved progression and conversion rates.
* Identify usability issues, bottlenecks and potential website issues in order to design recommendations for change.
* Design interactive elements such as menus, forms and buttons that are visually appealing and user friendly.
* Develop sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes to visualise and improve the structure and flow of our websites.
* Organise information and content in a way that is intuitive and easy to navigate.
* Conduct user interviews, surveys and usability tests to gather insights into user needs and preferences.
* Analyse this research data to identify pain points, opportunities and new user journeys.
* Create user personas to represent our client's target user groups.
Skills required for the role:
* A solid and demonstrable understanding of user-centred design principles and best practices.
* Proficiency in conducting various user research methods, including interviews, surveys and usability testing.
* Good working knowledge of design tools such as Figma. Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
* Ability to identify and solve complex design challenges.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
* A creative mindset to generate innovative and engaging design solutions.
* Meticulous attention to detail and highly organised to ensure high-quality design outcomes.
* Knowledge of CRO and analytics tools.
