We're seeking a dynamic and results-oriented SHQE Manager to join an established company. As a key player in the organisation, you will be instrumental in driving excellence across health, safety, quality, and environmental initiatives.
So as the SHEQ Manager what will you get involved in?

Lead the development and implementation of robust SHQE systems.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing and implementing health, safety, quality, and environmental initiatives.
Key Responsibilities of the SHEQ Manager will be to:
Oversee and maintain ISO 9001, FORS, RISQS, Achilles, and Ecovadis accreditations.
Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety management systems.
Drive quality improvement initiatives across all operations.
Lead sustainability efforts and reduce environmental impact.
Manage facilities and ensure a safe working environment. Business Functions Management
Oversee multiple accreditations (ISO 9001, FORS, RISQS, Achillies, Ecovadis) and their audits.
Manage all aspects of Health and Safety implementation.
Measure and ensure quality across the sites
Devise and implement sustainability initiatives across the group
Communicate the importance of these areas through an engaging program.
Lead and manage the compliance team (1 direct report). Key Responsibilities
Quality Management
Maintain ISO 9001:2015 compliant Quality Management Systems.
Ensure Health and Safety processes are implemented.
Comply with environmental and sustainability legislation.
Ensure safe working environments in facilities.
Promote and manage FORS bronze standard.
Update engineers' RAMS and H&S guidance with Field and Technical Engineering Managers.
Prepare for and conduct annual audits.
Update directors and management on quality, health, safety, environmental, and site issues.
Maintain QMS through document control.
Chair HSQE&F Management Review meetings.
Follow up on action points and ensure staff compliance.
Oversee internal audit processes and quality performance measures.
Provide in-house quality system training.
Act on customer feedback for continuous improvement.
Review 3rd party suppliers from an audit perspective.
Lead quality and regulatory work with business partners.
Engage with industry changes and legislation.
Support other company functions as needed. Health and Safety
Oversee risk assessments for all locations and field-based engineering teams.
Ensure engineering staff inspect and test equipment.
Conduct site assessments and maintain H&S procedures.
Ensure compliance with RISQS, Achilles, Sentinel, FORS, and ISO.
Ensure sub-contractors comply with H&S procedures and IR35.
Advise management on health and safety legislation.
Create and implement workplace health and safety plans.
Communicate HSE bulletins and conduct safety training.
Monitor and enforce employee safety compliance.
Investigate accidents and suggest preventive measures. Facilities Management
Ensure site manuals and annual fire evacuations are conducted.
Perform safety audits and workplace risk assessments. Environment and Sustainability
Manage hazardous waste documentation and procedures.
Train on environmental protection procedures.
Maintain an environmental management system.
Support monthly Environmental and Sustainability meetings.
Record Scope 1,2 data and promote sustainability efforts for Scope 3.
Develop partnerships and prepare sustainability reports.
Provide sustainability training and advocate for sustainable practices.
Conduct ECO Vadis environmental and sustainability audits.   
As the SHEQ Manager what will you need to have?
Tech IOSH / Grad IOSH or CMIOSH
Proven experience in SHEQ management, ideally within a manufacturing, engineering or technical industry.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. You will be based onsite for 1-2 days per week, and across the other two sites in Brownhills and Gloucester
