DT Teacher

Contract: Mon - Fri, 8:30AM - 3:30PM - Term Time Only
Salary: M1 - M6 Teaching pay scale - Final salary based on experience
What you'll be doing on a daily basis...
* Planning and delivering hands-on DT lessons that inspire students.
* Providing practical instruction and guidance in various areas of design, including product design, engineering, and manufacturing techniques.
* Provide an inclusive learning environment where students can explore, experiment, and problem-solve through design projects.
What you'll need...
* An Enhanced DBS check, ensuring the safety and well-being of our students.
* Previous experience within a school setting, demonstrating your ability to engage and inspire students in DT.
* A QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or relevant teaching qualification in DT.
* Passion for creativity, innovation, and hands-on learning, with a commitment to nurturing students' design skills and technical knowledge.
THE SCHOOL
Our partnered school is a university technical college that opened in 2016. It caters for students aged 14 to 19 who have an interest in engineering, science, technology or maths.
