Job Responsibilities:
As an Electrician at S&D Trade Recruitment, your duties will include:
* Performing 1st and 2nd fix electrical works in residential and commercial settings.
* Installing and maintaining fuseboards and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
* Installing and maintaining Solar PV systems, including battery storage solutions.
* Installing EV charging points for residential and commercial properties.
* Running and connecting communication cables for smart home and business systems.
* Working on renewable energy projects, supporting sustainability efforts through solar and other renewable installations.
* Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults with efficiency and accuracy.
* Ensuring all work meets the necessary regulatory and safety requirements.
Requirements:
* Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
* Experience with 1st and 2nd fix electrical works, including fuseboard installations.
* Previous experience with Solar PV installations, batteries, and EV charging points is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of communication wiring and renewable energy systems.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Full, clean UK driving license.
* ECS or CSCS card (preferred).
