Job Title: Support Worker
Location: Doncaster, DN2 (Support Worker MUST live in the Doncaster area)
Hourly Rate: £12-£14 per hour depending on experience.
Driver Essential? Yes
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours:
Monday: 9:30am - 15:30pm
Wednesday: 9:30am - 15:30pm
Friday: 9:30am - 15:30pm
About you-Essential Experience:
- Must live in the Doncaster area or in very close proximity
- Acquired Brain Injury experience
- Requires a support worker who can push to motivate our client
- MUST speak clear Fluent English due to the clients disability aged between 20-40 years old
About our client:
The role of the support worker/rehab assistant would be to carry over from the therapy team with a focus on independent living skills and aspects of daily living.
The client may look at returning to college and the support worker can assist with preparation for this.
We also require someone who can drive to support him in the community. The client likes a variety of sports and activities.
Our client enjoys football, supports Chelsea and plays 3 times a week for a disability team. He is also into music and IT. He tries a lot of other sports with physio e.g. skiing, skating, swimming.
The aim of support is to increase his independence with laundry, cleaning, food shopping and meal prep. He does not got out on his own so accessing public transport is another goal.
Our client would prefer a Support Worker who lives in the Doncaster area
Successful Candidates will:
* Have access to full Training - including Brain Injury Awareness Training
* CPD opportunities
* Will be subject to Full Enhanced DBS
* Competitive Hourly Rate
* Gain Experience working with an MDT

* Willing to become self-employed
