About The Company:
Our client is a recognised player in the beauty industry, with a dominant presence across high streets in the UK. They are known for the quality of their offerings, excellent customer service and high safety standards.
Currently generating a turnover of £30m they are a profitable and cash rich organisation with ambitious plans for growth over the next 3 years. The business, already equipped with a proficient team and state of the art technology, are actively seeking a Managing Director to set the strategy and deliver this growth.
Managing Director – The Role:
The Managing Director role is critical for the future growth of the business by developing and executing its strategic direction. You will have full oversight of the fast growing organisation and will be responsible for developing a comprehensive sales & marketing plan. In addition, you will establish a strong operational strategy in order to effectively implement this plan.
Managing Director – Key Responsibilities:
-Strategic Planning: Develop & execute a long-term strategy to achieve the company’s goals & objectives
-Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, financial planning and ensure the company’s financial health including P&L management
-Leadership: Provide strong leadership & guidance encouraging a positive and productive work environment
-Business Development: Identify growth opportunities, partnerships and expansion strategies to drive business growth
-Compliance: Ensure the company adheres to all relevant laws, regulations and industry standards
Managing Director – You:
-At least 5 years’ experience in a multi-site senior leadership role
- Proven experience of owning and managing a P&L
- Track record of success in developing and implementing effective strategic business plans
- Experience in building and managing a high performing team
- History of overseeing business systems & operations
