Position: MLD Teaching Assistant
Location: Grimsby

About the Role:
As an MLD Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to students with Moderate Learning Difficulties. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting students in their academic, social, and emotional development.
Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Adapting classroom materials and activities to meet the needs of students with MLD.
Providing one-on-one or small group support as required.
Encouraging and motivating students to achieve their full potential.
Monitoring and recording student progress and providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Requirements:
Experience working with children or young adults with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly MLD.
A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
Relevant qualifications or training in SEN (preferred but not essential).
