Registered Home Manager required for a beautiful residential care home located within the heart of it's community in Oxford. Independently owned this charming care home is providing high quality residential care for older people within a warm, friendly and welcoming care home environment.
The home is an independent charity run care home therefore, we're looking for someone who will be the Registered Manager with CQC but also the Nominated Individual. As the Registered Manager you will report into and work collaboratively with a board of trustees and will be supported day to day by a Deputy Manager who acts at Head of Care and a very experienced Financial Administrator.
We're looking for an experienced manager, someone with good working knowledge of CQC and sound business and commercial acumen.
Requirements:
Experienced Manager with good working knowledge of CQC
Minimum qualification NVQ L4 / L5 or willing to work towards
Good leadership experience with a supportive and engaging leadership style
An understanding in and empathy for elderly care
Responsibilities include:
Be the Registered Manager and Nominated Individual with CQC
Take full responsibility for ensuring high standards of professional practice which the needs of each resident.
Manage the homes budget and take full P&L responsibility.
Staff recruitment and retention.
Ensure that all care staff receive regular supervision and appraisal and that they receive the training and support necessary to facilitate their role.
Undertake assessments and reviews.
Maintain and develop links in the local community creating opportunities.
Contract, Remuneration and benefits:
up to £60,000pa depending on skills and experience
25 days annual leave + bank holidays
