Based in Leeds, Ginetta has been building British road and race cars since 1958. In 2005, the company was purchased by LNT Group, which consists of Construction, Chemicals, Automotive and Software companies, under the guidance of Chairman and founder Lawrence Tomlinson.
Since then, ‘The British Motorsport Company’ has enjoyed rapid expansion; scaling up production to support global exports, running multiple successful domestic championships and expanding its offering with supporting brands including Want2race, Blyton Park and Sim Track.
Job Profile
We are currently looking to recruit a Head of Sales and Marketing for Leadership and delivery of sales targets and increasing revenue and sales across the motorsports eco system across the world. Lead and personally deliver all aspects of marketing in online and offline channels. The ultimate purpose of the role is to create a high-end experience and connected delivery to result in more drivers and more car sales.
Key responsibilities:
* Hit sales targets across all markets including vehicle sales and filling the Ginetta racing grid.
* Manage all digital marketing channels (e.g. website, high net worth routes to customers, blogs, emails and social media) to deliver proven leads to end customers.
* Develop specific campaigns to create and maintain high levels of customer interaction.
* Personally oversee our social media accounts.
* Forecast sales performance trends ensure the team close deals and sales.
* Liaise with Product, Design and Sales teams to increase end customer satisfaction.
* Motivate the team to achieve goals.
* Monitor competition and provide ideas to stand out.
Experience and Knowledge:
Considerable experience of sales in the motor industry or motorsport. As a candidate you are probably looking for that next step up to a senior accountable role. You should have considerable experience of sales delivery and searching for new ways to find customers.
* Experience in designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns.
* Strong understanding of how all current digital marketing channel’s function.
* Considerable experience of high net worth marketing and experiences.
* Solid knowledge of online marketing tools and best practices.
* Familiarity with web design and experience building web estates and linking that to CRM.
* Excellent analytical and project management skills.
* Strong team management and communication (written and verbal) skills.
* Marketing experience and proven experience in building and growing sales.
