The Role: We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Student Services Administrator to join our client school in Oldham. As a key member of the administrative team, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive support to students, parents, and staff members. From managing student records to coordinating pastoral care initiatives, your dedication and organisational skills will be essential in fostering a positive and inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the student services office, including reception duties and managing inquiries
Maintaining accurate student records, including attendance, behaviour, and academic progress
Supporting the coordination of pastoral care services, including liaising with staff, students, and external agencies
Assisting with the organisation and administration of student enrolment, examinations, and other school events
Providing administrative support to the SENCO and other members of the pastoral team as required
Upholding confidentiality and data protection regulations in all aspects of the roleRequirements:
Previous experience in a school administrative role, particularly within student services, is essential
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach to student welfare
Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and student management databases
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently with minimal supervision

Start Date: September 2024
Hours: 8:00 - 16:00 (Monday to Friday)
