Projects
Infrastructure: Work on key projects such as trunk mains, distribution mains, and strategic connections.
Non-Infrastructure: Focus on civil and structural modifications at production sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Lead and manage projects from inception to completion.
Provide mentorship and guidance to project teams.
Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Client Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and project management.
Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver customized solutions.
Team Collaboration:
Work seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams, including contractors, structural engineers, and environmental specialists.
Promote a collaborative and inclusive working environment.
Quality Control:
Implement stringent quality control measures to ensure the integrity of engineering designs.
Review project deliverables to ensure they meet the highest standards.
Innovation and Sustainability:
Stay informed about industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Contribute to innovative engineering solutions and sustainable practices.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent experience in the industry.
At least 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a recognized institution (e.g., ICE) is highly desirable.
Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and advanced structural analysis tools.
Skills:
In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and materials.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and excellence in engineering practices.
The role is 95% office based in Berkshire - the working hours are flexible as long as you are completing your 40hr week
