As one of our Vehicle Technicians, youll be responsible for the diagnosis, repair and service of a wide range of makes and models, completing your work in good time, whilst maintaining our impeccably high standards.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Routine servicing & maintenance oil changes, filter changes,air-conditioning services, filling fluids, spark plugs & batteries etc
MOT repairs replacement of bottom arms, shock absorbers, coil springs, ball joints, brake discs & pads etc
Pre-Delivery Inspectionsrepairing minor faults with lights, washers, switches, wing mirrors, bulbs, key batteries, fuses, re-setting TPMS & Service Indicators etc
Vehicle Diagnostics Use of OBD Diagnosis Tools to help identify and address electrical & mechanical issues as well as fault finding wiring, electrical, mechanical & electronic systems
System Inspections Undertake test drives and diagnostic testing to determine necessary repair work
Installing & fitting vehicle accessoriessuch as dash cameras, rear parking sensors etc
Ordering Parts& Maintaining Daily Records
Requirements:
Ideally at Least 2 years Experience Post Qualification
Full UK Driving Licence
Own Set of Tools
Excellent Communication Skills and a Professional Attitude
Ability to learn new skills and technologies including vehicle diagnostic equipment.
Experience of day-to-day record keeping and workshop related administration
Health and Safety Conscious
Computer Literate
The ability to work independently
Good Communication Skills
Good Organizational Skills
Qualifications:
Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Light Vehicle Repair
City and Guilds Motor Repair / BTEC / NVQ Level 2 or 3, or equivalent
Salary & Hours:
£26,000+ depending on experience
Performance bonus
Staff discounts
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00 and every other Saturday 09:00-16:00.
28 days holiday including Bank Holidays.
