Senior Mechanical Design Technicians/Engineers x 2

To produce with minimal support the documentation required to support the definition of new product, the manufacture and assembly of parts and assemblies and the change in definition of current product.Day to Day Duties:-
Drafting of mechanical engineering drawings from 3D parametric CAD models.
The creation and modification of 3D parametric CAD models.
Change process control and documentation.
Part and feature dimensional tolerance control, preferably with GD&T
Data base management (Working within a PDM system, preferably WindChill and Teamcenter)
The management and delivery of assigned work packages, with ownership and autonomy, to schedule and budget.
The identification and communication of risk and error when seen.
Working collaboratively with engineers across different disciplines.
Manage the efforts of supporting technicians, taking responsibility for their output, and where required, tracking the completion of their work against schedule and budget.
Peer review the work of other technicians.
Cads Tools such as Creo would be of benefit but not essential
Good communicator, well organised and able to work within a multi-disciplined team.
Experienced in the communication of part and assembly detail through engineering drawing. Specifically to standard (preferably BS8888/ASME Y14.100) and with an understanding of dimensional tolerance control and GD&T
