Buildforce is currently working on behalf of a Nottingham based client, who are seeking a Site Manager for a refurbishment scheme in Nottingham.
You will be working on a refurbishment of building internals overseeing trades staff doing decorating, decorations, floor finishes, stud partitions, minor M&E works, security and fire alarms of existing 3 storey building. You will be the number 1 manager on site, reporting to a contracts manager. Looking for an experienced and enthusiastic manager to run with this scheme and complete it on time.
Duration: 4 months
Payment: CIS payments available
Value: £2 million
Responsibilities:
As a Construction Site Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Manage all aspects of construction on site through to completion, ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety regulations, and project time-lines.
* Lead and motivate on-site teams, including subcontractors.
* Monitor project budgets and costs, identifying and addressing any potential issues.
* Enforce and promote strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations. Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to maintain a safe work environment.
* Serve as a primary point of contact between the company and clients. Provide regular updates on project progress, address concerns, and ensure overall client satisfaction.
* Develop and maintain project program
Required experience and qualifications:
* CSCS Card, SMSTS & First Aid
* Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager with a successful track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
* In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control measures.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
