Are you an experienced Plant Fitter? Interested in joining a market leader with the number one training scheme in the industry?
Attega Group is currently partnering with a Heavy Plant company based in the Alfreton area.
The main purpose of this role is to perform service, maintenance, repair, breakdowns or fault finding to my client’s range of Heavy Plant Equipment,
In return, our client is offering a salary circa £15 per hour based on a 40 hour week. Company Vehicle All PPE Unrivalled training scheme at a national centre Overtime Opportunities This role will lead to further opportunities within the company, my client have an excellent history of promotion from within and training and developing their engineers.
Company Bonus Scheme
Reporting to the Depot Manager your responsibilities will include:
Inspection of equipment and rectification of any defects.
Carry out complete servicing of equipment.
Undertake routine inspections of equipment.
Dismantle and repair or replace faulty components.
Re-assemble and test components to ensure they are in good working order.
Involvement in major repairs and re-builds of equipment.
Explain faults to managers, colleagues and customers.
Ensure that detailed work reports, inspections and services are submitted electronically in real time on PDA provided.
Maintain good housekeeping by keeping your work area clean and tidy at all times.
Work to health and safety regulations, risk assessments and safe working procedures at all times.
The ideal candidate:
Previous experience working in the Plant Industry
Previous experience working with a main dealer would be an advantage
Clean UK driving license
If no plant experience, being able to demonstrate an excellent Mechanical and Hydraulics background
Preferably NVQ qualified, but will take time served
