Job Title: Level 2 Early Years Practitioner

Salary: from £23,795.20 per annum

The Old Schoolhouse Kindergarten have the opportunity for a Level 2 or above Early Years Practitioner to join their small team of dedicated staff to ensure children thrive and flourish in their care.

Are you looking for a cosy and calm setting? Our nursery can have a total of 32 children per day across the 4 rooms with 5 children in their baby room , 7 children in their 1.5-2's room, 10 children in the 2-3.5's and 10 children in the pre school room.

Within this role of Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development. You will need to ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent, and visitor at all times and follow risk assessments diligently and report all health and safety matters to management.

You will be required to enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development. You will also need to ensure positive partnerships with parents/carers with thorough handover on daily collection and encourage their involvement in the nursery.

For the role of Early Years Practitioner, we would require you to have a full and relevant Level 2 or above childcare qualification – essential. Have sound knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements and have experience of working within Early Years.
