Job Description

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Lead Data Engineerto join us. The role holder will belead in all technical aspects of the data engineering projects whilst working closely with solution architects to ensure the integrity and consistency of end-to-end technology solutions.nWhat you'll be doing:nEnsuring the solutions developed and deployed are fit for purpose and fit for use, meet the business requirements, adhere to quality standards and deliver value within cost constraints.nEnsuring all developments follow the agreed change process.nWorking with security architecture to ensure all solutions are fully approved.nProviding input into project and resource plans and support business case production.nWorking within an agile methodology framework.nOverseeing solution development including implementation engagement as needed.nApplying knowledge of technology options and survey external market landscape for solution insights, direction, and vendors, as required.nIdentifying issues and risks and lead their resolution as required.nIdentifying and implement opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in existing services.

Qualifications

Who we're looking for:nDegree in appropriate subject preferable or equivalent qualifications or demonstrable evidence of relevant business/work experience at this level.nAPI and RESTful micro-servicesnJVM based languages such as Java & frameworks like Spring BootnCloud Platforms with an emphasis on Azure.
