We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our multi award-winning company as a
Soft Landscaper . This is an important role within the Construction division of our business, working with the soft landscaping team to bring design-led horticultural visions to life.The successful candidate will need to be dynamic, positive and highly motivated. They will also be a collaborative team worker, able to take direction, whilst ensuring the delivery of consistent quality work in line with project specifications and deadlines.The candidate will need to support the Soft Landscaping Foreman, as well as working cooperatively with hard landscaping colleagues, designers, sub-contractors and other stakeholders.Duties include, but are not limited to:Actioning site design plans to ensure the horticultural elements are delivered as prescribedMaintaining and managing all horticultural elements on site to ensure sustained good healthTurfing and its maintenanceTree planting - working alongside specialists where requiredRequirements for the role include, but are not limited to:Recognised horticultural qualification with the ability to demonstrate good plant knowledge
this is a strong preference, but not essential if experience is provenDriving licence as sites may not be accessible via public transportCSCS cardCompetent in using the appropriate power tools where requiredCertificates in spraying (PA1 PA6)Good awareness of Health & Safety and implementing procedureQualities required of the ideal candidate:Ability to work positively in a team with a pro-active and can-do attitudeAble to work independently and take ownership for delivering superb quality work every timeHigh levels of energy, self-motivation and the ability to motivate othersStrong attention to detailGood time-managementAbility to work under pressure to meet project deadlinesStrong work ethicIntegrity and discretionA desire to develop personally, whilst also supporting the development of other team membersWhat you will receive for fulfilling this role:A competitive annual salary depending on experienceAn annual bonus based on the Companys overall performanceMay have use of a Company van for business if project requires28 days holiday inclusive of bank and public holidaysBranded uniformPPETrainingCompany pension schemeEmployee assistance programme backed by BUPACompany eventsWorking for one of the UKs leading award-winning landscaping companies
