Opportunity:
An Architectural Technologist role has become available at an innovative consultancy firm looking to expand its Project Management and Design team. Joining a varied team of specialists, the successful Architectural Technologist candidate will be part of a growing community of designers, focussed on the effective delivery of a wide variety of developments.
With a particular focus on public and private construction, you will be overseeing the creation and advancement of assigned projects. Your specialist insight will be utilised as you take on a client facing position, providing expert services and aiding in the development of long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
Role Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities within the role of Architectural Technologist are varied but are split predominantly between cooperative and solo aspects. These include:
Collaborating with other architects and engineers to allow for flawless unification of technical design constructs.
Collaborating with clients and key stakeholders to understand their wants and convert them to technical designs.
Aid in the progression of 3D models/visualisations.
Using AutoCAD to produce complex designs, plans and necessary specifications.
Arrange proper documentation and designs, assuring they're accurate and follow project protocols.
Carry out site visits to collect key information and guarantee designs match up with the landscape.
Deliver proposals of personally produced design concepts and plans to your team.
Make certain all designs align with standards, relevant codes and regulations.
Actively participate throughout all RIBA stages and provide technical support during construction phase.Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience working within some form of Architectural consultancy.
Proven proficiency with AutoCAD software.
Strong working knowledge of typical construction techniques, rules and resources.
Member of or working towards chartered member status with Royal Institute of British Architects.
Adept illustrative design skills.
Proficiency with Revit and 3D render software is desirable.
