Job Title: Fire Damper Compliance Supervisor

Reports To: Regional Compliance Manager

Salary: £38 - 45k

Location: Slough / North London

A market leader in the compliance industry for over 40 years is seeking a Fire Damper Compliance Supervisor. As experts in duct cleaning, this company provides comprehensive ventilation and grease hygiene services, including fire damper testing, installation, and remedial work for public sector entities, utility companies, and commercial and retail clients. With rigorous growth plans in place, we are looking for talented individuals to join our knowledgeable team.

Responsibilities:

* Ensure Completion of Contracts.

* Oversee that all Environmental Hygiene Testing and Remedial Contracts are completed to the required standards and customer satisfaction.

Main Areas of Work:

1. Fire Damper Testing

2. General Ventilation Remedial Works and Cleaning

3. Fire Damper Fitting and Remedial Works

4. Ductwork Fitting and Amendments (e.g., installing fire stopping)

5. Communicate with customers or their representatives to agree on the scope and priority of works, adhering to the schedule of works programme if available.

Job Specific Functions:

* Workload Control: Coordinate job sites, set job priorities, and ensure sufficient manpower and equipment for tasks.

* Health and Safety: Adhere to and enforce Health and Safety regulations, including chemical storage, protective clothing, and maintaining clean work areas.

* Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is serviceable and report any deficiencies or damage to the Senior Contracts Supervisor.

* Team Supervision: Oversee Compliance Operatives to ensure work meets required standards and training.

* Budget Management: Ensure jobs are completed within allotted costs.

* Professional Representation: Represent the company professionally on-site.

* Training Assistance: Help train new operatives and temporary labour in conjunction with the Regional Supervisor.

* Problem Solving: Address urgent problems, discuss site situations, and set daily priorities.

* Adherence to Code of Conduct: Follow the Company Code of Conduct at all times.

* Participate in on-the-job, internal, and external training as required.

* Comply with all necessary Health and Safety training.

Key Performance Indicators:

* Attendance: Achieve 100% attendance to all jobs.

* No Aborted Calls: Ensure there are no aborted calls, except those outside of your control.

* Safety: Complete all risk assessments and avoid RIDDOR incidents.

* No Vehicle Accidents: Maintain a safe driving record.

Quality & Environmental Responsibilities:

* Process Adherence: Follow company processes and procedures to provide a quality service to all customers.

* Environmental Compliance: Familiarise and comply with the company's Environmental Policy.

Health & Safety Responsibilities:

Comply with all relevant sections of the Company Health and Safety Policy.
