About the role:

Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit a full time teaching assistant to work in a Nursery class based in the centre of Cardiff
The role will consist of supporting the children with day to day activties in the classroom whilst contributing to the positive and welcoming environment. The children are aged between 2-3 years old, and the nursery pride themselves on promoting an independant learning environment for the children. The ideal candidate must be able to work as part of a team environment with the teachers and TAs in the classroom to work collaboratively. Using initiative will be essential in the role, and ensuring the children are working as expected and recieving the correct support with daily activites. 
About the school:
The nursery is based in CF24 and you will be joining a welcoming team of teachers and teaching assistants. The nursery includes a range of work stations for the children to enjoy different activites, along with a large garden space for outdoor learning. If the successful candidate is a good fit for the nursery, the part-time position could be extended until the end of the academic year. 
Teaching Assistant Duties:
Preparing the classroom and resources ready for activites 
Supporting the teacher with general classroom assistance 
Help to maintain a clean and tidy classroom environment
Good communication skills and nurturing personality 
When registering with Teaching Personnel, you will be in regular contact with your own dedicated consultant who can answer any questions you may have and support you throughout your time working with us. You will also receive access to our CPD courses if you wish to continue your learning and professional development in a range of areas. Refer a teacher or teaching assistant to us and you can also receive a £50 bonus
Requirement Criteria:
Enhanced Child Only DBS Certificate that is on the DBS Update Service (Teaching Personnel can help with this)
Register for the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
Be able to provide professional based reference details
