Full job description
My client is currently looking for a fully skilled / semi skilled CNC Turner & Miller & to work on Hurco controlled machines (experience not essential on Hurco machines as training can be given). The role includes:- reading and working to 2D engineering drawings, checking tool dimensions with precision measuring instruments such as verniers, production in the manufacturing of the machined component, primarily operating and setting CNC turning and milling machines with Hurco conversational machines. Modifying programs as and when required ensuring quality workmanship at all times. The role requires the worker to work within the timescales given, to be organised, focused and able to adopt a high level of attention to detail within your work, a team player as well as using own ability. You must work in line with the company procedures and machine capability to ensure production deadlines are met, must work within a safe environment to ensuring all company procedures and Health and Safety legislation are followed at all times, maintaining the work area by keeping the machine and all associated tools and equipment in a clean and tidy manner.
