Sanctuary Personnel is currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse (CPN) to take on a new ongoing contract role within the Community Forensics Team.

*Location: *Southwark, Greater London
*Pay Rate: *£27 per hour (assignment rate)
*Contract Type: *Locum, 3-month contract
*Hours: *Monday - Friday

*Duties of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:*
* Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to individuals within the community forensic service.
* Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualised care plans in collaboration with service users and their families.
* Deliver a range of interventions and therapeutic activities to support recovery and rehabilitation.
* Work collaboratively with other members of the multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and occupational therapists.
* Engage in risk assessment and management, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of service users and the wider community.
* Provide support and guidance to junior staff members, including mentoring and supervision as required.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with professional standards and service policies.

*Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:*
* Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
* Experience working as a Mental Health Nurse
* NMC Registration
* Experience working as a CPN preferably in a relevant team
