Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Groundworker with a valid CPCS or NPORS Slinger Ticket to join our team in Norwich. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in groundwork, hold a CSCS card, and possess a valid driver's license.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform various groundwork tasks including excavation, drainage, and concreting.
* Safely sling and signal loads in accordance with industry standards.
* Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
* Work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects on time.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors and site managers regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
* Ensure site cleanliness and organization.
Requirements:
* Valid CPCS or NPORS Slinger Ticket.
* Valid CSCS Card.
* Valid UK driver's license.
* Proven experience in groundwork.
* Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional certifications related to construction and groundwork.
* Experience operating heavy machinery.
