If so, our client can offer the opportunity to undertake both practical and theoretical training. They will support and mentor throughout the training and fund this whilst also paying a normal salary on the days that you need to attend classes or time in the office to study.
Around 80% of your time will be gaining valuable experience supporting the team in providing a range of accounting and taxation services to the clients including, preparing financial information, reports and returns for clients, using computer software to report transactions, preparing and providing tax calculations, regular VAT returns and bookkeeping services, along with any other duties that might be required to support the team.
To be considered for this position you need to be analytical and numerical. As this role requires the ability to study, a strong track record for obtaining qualifications often indicated by strong results is desirable however, this is not essential and other academic history will be considered.
You will need to be confident, have a positive personable attitude, able to multi task, take you own initiative, be able to meet deadlines. Good communication skills and a working knowledge of IT including Word and Excel.
This position is Monday – Friday 36.25 hours a week. Whilst training you will need to be in the office full time on working days however, once trained flexible and hybrid working could potentially be available.
This position has a starting salary of £20,000 PA
