Job Title: Deputy CAM/ARC Signatory

Reporting to: Continuing Airworthiness Manager

Description/Overall Purpose of the Role:

The Deputy CAM/ARC Signatory serves as the deputy to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager (CAMO Post Holder), overseeing the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) department. They provide day-to-day oversight of CAMO activities across all sites.

Main Responsibilities:

• Act as the Deputy to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager (CAM).
• Provide delegated oversight of all continuing airworthiness activity of the fleet as defined in the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME) and associated procedures.
• Support the CAMO team across all sites.
• Assist the CAM in fulfilling duties in accordance with Part-CAMO, IOM & OTAR regulatory requirements.
• Ensure adherence to legislative and company procedures to maintain compliance with current regulatory requirements.
• Offer cross-functional support to the CAMO team.
• Liaise regularly with the Operations Team to support the AOC.
• Aid in the development of Aircraft Maintenance Programmes (AMP).
• Conduct airworthiness reviews to support the recommendation/issue/extension of Airworthiness Review Certificates (ARC).
• Support Certificate of Airworthiness (CoA), Export Certificate of Airworthiness (ECoA), and Permit to Fly Applications and processes.
• Review and approve variations to the AMPs.
• Assist in airworthiness data review, including Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Modifications, and implementation actions.
• Address audit findings related to functional areas as required by the CAM.
• Ensure CAMO personnel are suitably qualified and authorized.
• Develop reports in support of the fleet on behalf of operators.
• Perform any other tasks as required by the role.

Knowledge & Skills:

Essential:

• Comprehensive understanding of aircraft continuing airworthiness requirements as related to Part CAMO, Part 145, SMS.
• Detailed knowledge of Occurrence Reporting, MORs, Safety Management Systems.
• Methodical with acute attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
• Flexible work ethic focused on meeting agreed timelines.
• Strong team leadership skills.
• Proactive with the ability to identify potential issues and apply remedial action.
• Computer literacy skills and proficiency with CAMO management software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.

Desirable:

• Familiarity with continuing airworthiness management software for CAMO management.
• Knowledge of Aircraft Fleet and technical documentation.

Education, Qualifications/Training:

Essential:

• Experienced Part 66 licensed engineer or holding an appropriate aeronautical degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a continuing airworthiness management environment; or
• 10 years’ experience in a continuing airworthiness management environment.
• Acceptable as ARC Signatory to support the recommendation/issue/extension of ARCs & CoA process.

Desirable:

• Completion of Aviation Human Factors training.
• Completion of recognized Part CAMO & Part 145 Training Courses.

Additional Requirements:

• DBS Security Clearance and eligibility for SC clearance.
• Full UK Driving Licence & willingness to travel as required.

Working Hours:

Full-time, office-based, Monday to Friday.
