Job Description:


They are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join the engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems and components to meet project specifications. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and develop electrical systems and components for various projects.
  • Create detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and tests to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineers to integrate electrical systems.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, design calculations, and test plans.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical design issues during the development and production phases.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, technologies, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.


Qualifications:


  • HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical).
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuit design, and control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with electrical simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink).
  • Experience within the power industry.
  • Knowledge of PLC programming and embedded systems.
