Technique Recruitment Solutions Ltd are a specialist Engineering & manufacturing Recruitment company based in Norwich. Our client have a permanent position for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join their team
Role Purpose
To provide effective maintenance support to the production operation and Co-ordinate with Factory Manager/Area Manager/Shift Supervisors to prioritise work in line with production requirements
Duties & Responsibilities
• Diagnoses plant/equipment issues and undertake mechanical and electrical repairs as required.
• Identify and capture opportunities for improvement in equipment maintainability and reliability.
• Perform mechanical and electrical ‘project’ type work as and when required.
• Perform mechanical and electrical planned and scheduled maintenance activities ensuring
completion within set schedules and high levels of engineering standards
• Proactively perform continuous improvement modifications.
• Identify equipment failure trends and proactively take action to eliminate or reduce equipment-based losses including major breakdowns, minor stoppages and quality related defects.
• Cooperate with engineering colleagues in order to schedule and prioritise maintenance activities including breakdowns and planned activities.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors with regard to technical support and fault finding,
identification and ordering of spares and services, technical documentation and machinery upgrades.
• Ensure Risk and COSHH Assessments are up-to-date and relevant to the activities being performed.
• Abide by all statutory requirements including those relating to health and safety.

▪ Able to read & understand electrical schematics.

Shifts 
Week 1: Mon to Weds – nights – 6pm to 6am
Week 2: Mon to Thurs – days – 6am to 6pm
