The Opportunity:

Finatal is partnering with a fantastic, highly profitable education group who are backed by a large-cap private equity fund. This brilliant opportunity will place you as a key member of their Finance team, allowing you to be extremely visible to both the Finance team, company executives and investors. The successful candidate will become an integral part of the finance function and be a key business partner across all functions of the business. A key ambition of this role would be helping the company to build transparency into their financial KPIs that drive the P&L, which is an increasing area of focus for the business in their next stage of growth, making it an excellent time to join the team.


The Role:

The responsibilities for this role include:

• Owning and developing the financial forecasting model (including 3-statement models)

• In collaboration with the financial reporting team, developing an end-to-end budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Assistance in preparation of month board pack

• Supporting the executive team in producing a strategic plan that reflects the business strategy.

• Ad-hoc analysis, including support on M&A and strategic projects.


Capability, Knowledge and Experience

• Experience of financial modelling

• Commercial awareness and business acumen • Ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders

• Strong Excel/modelling skills


Qualifications

• Fully qualified (CIMA/ACA/ACCA)
