SITE FOREMAN
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Site Foreman to oversee the day-to-day operations on our highways construction scheme. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the construction site, including subcontractors and labourers.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety on site.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
Manage and oversee the use of materials, equipment, and personnel.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is carried out to the highest standards.
Resolve any on-site issues promptly and efficiently.
Liaise with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs and reports.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Site Foreman or similar role in highways construction.
In-depth understanding of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
Proficient in MS Office and construction management software.
Relevant certifications and qualifications (e.g., CSCS card, SMSTS, First Aid).
