About Us: Tradewind Recruitment is committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to students with PMLD, ensuring they have the best possible educational experience.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one support to students with PMLD, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Assist with personal care and mobility needs, ensuring the well-being and comfort of each student.
Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to implement individualised learning plans.
Foster positive relationships with students, promoting independence and confidence.About you:
Experience working with students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
Understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by students with PMLD.
Compassionate and patient attitude with a genuine commitment to making a positive impact on students' lives.
Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other support professionals.Requirements:
Available Monday to Friday - 8.30 to 3.30
Have the right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service - we can help with this if you do not already have one.
