The Client:
Our client is a well-established manufacturing firm, offering outstanding design and production services for architectural metalwork such as staircases and balconies.
The Role:
As a Metal Fabricator, you will be installing architectural metalwork in various projects including staircases, steelwork and balustrades.
Responsibilities:
Perform on-site tasks such as welding, erection, and installation.
Coordinate internally for project coordination and efficiency.
Travel nationwide in company vans to customer locations for architectural metalwork installations.
Weld on-site according to company procedures and coding standards.
Commute and stay overnight as necessary for project obligations
Adhere to RAMS, company-set deadlines and project schedules.
Complete all tasks with meticulous attention to detail and professionalism.
Follow Quality Management System (QMS) procedures to maintain consistent quality standards in alignment with ISO 9001:2015
Requirements:
Previously worked as a Fabricator or in a similar role.
At least 5 years' experience in the fabrication industry.
Apprentice trained, time-served fabricator
Ideally have experience in MIG and TIG welding.
Skilled in reading and understanding CAD drawings.
Experience in using overhead cranes, guillotines, press brakes, radial arm drills, band saws, and punches (beneficial)
