Freight Forwarding experience is essential for this role


Overseeing the air import operations from our facility outside Glasgow Airport you'll be working with some of the best freight professionals in the industry and collaborating with, airlines, suppliers and our customers.

What you'll be doing

Focussing on coordinating shipment planning with DHL's transport and warehouse teams, overseas offices, and other internal departments your responsibilities include:

  • Creating, managing and maintaining the movement of imported Air freight
  • Liaising with airlines and DHL offices for Air freight planning and coordination
  • Ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant
  • Being the go-to person for customers, providing status updates and addressing any enquiries
  • Adhering to customs compliance procedures and documentation
  • Liaising with Carriers and Handling Agents to resolve exceptions and discrepancies promptly


About you - you will have:

  • Freight forwarding experience (air/ocean/import or export) is essential for this role
  • Administration experience in an office environment
  • Strong coordination and communication skills
  • A high attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and efficiently manage workload
