A client based in Kent is looking to recruit an experienced Plant Fitter who will be based out of their yard in Gillingham and attend breakdown sites across the UK. Accommodation and expenses paid. Being a plant fitter you will have experience with reading wiring diagrams and have experience with hydraulics.
Duties of the Plant Fitter:
- Reporting to your manager with your day to day solutions and acting independent on making your own decisions with breakdowns.
- Run out of the yard workshop based in Gillingham and attend breakdowns across the UK, if night away is required, accommodation and expenses paid.
- Act as the soul plant fitter for the Gillingham branch.
- May require a day on the weekend rarely but will get a day back in lieu.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and making your own decisions.
Experience of the Plant Fitter:
- Experience of drilling and drill rigs.
- Come from an automotive, plant equipment or commercial vehicles.
- An experienced plant fitter understanding hydraulics, wiring diagrams and electrical works.
- Experience of deep mining assets.
- Experience finding solutions and making your own decisions without being hand held.
- Hit the ground running.
- Driving license.
- Reliable and professional manner.
- Willing to travel across the UK for breakdowns.
