Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in the manufacturing industry? Join our client's dynamic team as a Welders Assistant and be part of their innovative company. With a generous hourly rate starting from £12, this full-time position offers excellent remuneration and benefits.
Responsibilities:
Work alongside two skilled welders in the weld shop, assisting them in gathering piece parts and welding fixtures.
Maintain an organised inventory and put away received piece parts in designated locations.
Utilise basic knowledge of engineering drawings and computer skills to identify missing parts.
Opportunity to learn additional tasks such as shot blasting parts and spot welding simple components after receiving training.
Ensure seamless production by being motivated, working independently, and maintaining a high level of organisation.The ideal candidate will possess an engineering awareness and demonstrate a strong work ethic. They should be proactive in identifying missing parts, have good computer skills, and be able to work independently. Full training will be provided to the right candidate.
