Our client is a successful games studio located in the Central Mediterranean region. They are looking for a talented Lead VFX Artist to join their passionate team.

This role is offered fully onsite.

What you will be doing:

Collaborate closely with the design and environment art team to develop effects for characters, weapons, interactions, vehicles and animals.nUtilise the engine’s particle editor to create VFX material.nConstruct HLSL shaders for material and particle effects.nGenerate pre-rendered visual effects (VFX) with external tools for best performance and appearance.nAs a strong leader, mentor junior art and design team members.

Who you are:

You have previously shipped AAA games and are able to showcase a strong portfolio.nYou have several years of expertise working as a 2D and 3D artist.nExcellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.nSkilled in using real time engines.nStrong knowledge of matter interactions and real-world physics.nYou are able to receive feedback and use the guidance to improve your work.

Bonus:

Experience using Unreal Engine and/or Unity, High-level shader language (HLSL).nYou are keen on innovative gaming technologies and have an eagerness to push limits.nSkilled in coding.
