The Role: As a KS2 Nurture Teacher at our SEN School you will play a crucial role in providing additional support and intervention for students who may require extra assistance with social emotional and behavioral needs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering tailored interventions and support programs to meet the social emotional and behavioral needs of KS2 students.
  • Creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued supported and empowered to succeed.
  • Collaborating with colleagues parents and external agencies to provide holistic support and interventions for students.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress providing feedback and support to promote growth and development.
  • Implementing strategies to promote positive behavior management and social skills development.

Requirements: To excel in this role candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working with students with special educational needs particularly in KS2.
  • Strong understanding of social emotional and behavioral needs and effective strategies for supporting student wellbeing.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Compassion patience and a genuine commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of students.
  • Flexibility adaptability and resilience in responding to the diverse needs of students.
