As a Business Development Manager in the bustling workplace solutions sector, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the client base and driving the growth of a forward-thinking company.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your role as Business Development Manager will focus on the pursuit of excellence in creating new accounts, with the aim of securing customers with an annual spend of over £100K. The key duties and responsibilities you will embrace include:
* Spearheading new business initiatives and achieving an annual target of £800k in invoiced sales, with aspirations to surpass £1m in new business revenue.
* Proactively generating leads independently or collaboratively with the Corporate Account Team, nurturing these leads into valuable spending accounts.
* Seamlessly transitioning new accounts to an Account Manager for ongoing development, while continuing to identify fresh avenues for sales.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To thrive as the Business Development Manager, your profile should reflect:
* A proven track record in sales, with experience in exceeding high-value targets. within Finance/Banking or Retail/Leisure sectors would be highly advantageous.
* A consultative sales approach
* Exceptional lead generation and account conversion skills, with a focus on delivering results.
* The ability to collaborate with specialist teams to offer a comprehensive range of products and services.
