Our client, an independent school in Hampstead, are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly and passionate Early Years Team Leader to work with their rising 2 year old class.
If you are passionate about providing engaging, creative, and ambitious learning opportunities for children in a warm and nurturing environment, and you aspire to work in a dynamic, inspiring, and inclusive setting that truly values staff and child well-being as well as continuous professional development, then this role is perfect for you.
Candidates must:
Have proof of an accredited Early Years qualification
Have extensive experience of working within Early Years
Have a good understanding of, and be able to comply with the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework (EYFS)
Responsibilities, alongside the existing Team Leader, include:
Day-to-day responsibility of the class
To plan rich, creative, engaging and stimulating activities that meet the age and stage of development of the children, and encourage them to reach their full potential.
To plan and prepare activities and evaluate their planning and practice through use of the EYFS curriculum.
To supervise and lead activities, planning for key children from observations, next steps, magic moments and parental input.
To complete observations and online learning journals to a high standard, ensuring that they are up to date
To complete Two Year Progress Checks to a high standard, including meeting with parents, as requested, to discuss the checks.
To be able to identify children who may need extra support or an extension of their learning.
