Insight Investment is looking for a Developer to join the Fusion LDI team in London. You will join a dynamic team at the forefront of engineering cutting-edge systems designed to meet the unique needs of Insight's business. Our business stakeholders include LDI Fund managers and Traders.


As a key member of our agile product team, you'll be instrumental in developing software solutions that enhance decision-making, reduce operational risks, and optimise efficiency for our front office. Collaborating closely with both our front office and cross-functional teams, you'll play a pivotal role in understanding user requirements, architecting solutions and implementing features to meet their evolving needs. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative, innovative environment where your contributions make a real impact.


Role Responsibilities

  • Take an active role in peer code reviews, balancing technical debt with delivery goals to help maintain code quality
  • Identify opportunities for new processes / frameworks / architectures
  • Support the wider team by jointly designing new application features and smaller enhancements
  • Communicate your ideas to the wider team, aiding understanding and clarity
  • Have the chance to liaise with technical stakeholders, help to both take requirements and present summaries
  • Be given the opportunity to continue your self-development – via dedicated learning days and attending conferences / meetups, as well as learning from Senior Developers


Experience Required

  • Strong C#
  • Strong OO analysis and design
  • Concurrency and parallelism skills
  • REST (preferably ASP.NET Core)
  • Experience working with SQL
  • UI experience: JavaScript, HTML, CSS etc.
  • Be able to communicate abstract or complex ideas or solutions effectively
  • Ability to interact with stakeholders
