Full-Stack Web Developer Role and Responsibilities

As the Full-Stack Web Developer, your work will be split across working on retained client hours, and handling ad-hoc projects/tickets for clients and the internal teams. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:


  • Developing websites from scratch, handling both front-end and back-end development
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet client expectations, writing clean and well-documented code, while also ensuring deadlines are met
  • Mentor junior team members on best practice
  • Contribute in client meetings as and when necessary
  • Utilise your technical stack with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, WordPress, SQL, and ideally Laravel


Skills and Experience

Your professional development will be an active focus for the business, as you are given a wide selection of training opportunities, bi-annual performance reviews, and 121 sessions with your line manager to support your growth to progress to a senior Web Development position. The agency does ask that you have:


  • 3+ years of experience in web development
  • Experience with the following front-end tools: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience with the following back-end tools: PHP, WordPress, SQL
  • Experience with Laravel is not a priority, however is valued
  • Server navigation and API integration experience
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Prior experience upselling/pitching for new business
