W Talent are now supporting a Manufacturing company located in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire who are now looking to recruit a HSE Advisor to promote a positive Health, Safety and Environmental culture within all departments and functions of the organisation.
Located in Gainsborough, commutable from Doncaster, Worksop, and Lincoln my client supplies new and replacement products to the UK and European markets. This organisation is renowned for stable employment with very low turnover of staff.
Due to market demand, they have gone through a small growth period over the past year which has led to some additional hires. To apply for this Days based, HSE Advisor position you will need to have a NEBOSH certificate, and some form of Health, Safety or Environmental experience.
Position Overview:
As the new HSE Advisor you will be responsible for updating the companies Health, Safety, and Environment Management Systems and promoting a zero-tolerance approach throughout the organisation, to ensure safe working practices with the emphasis on encouraging positive worker and management cooperation.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Ensuring the upkeep of the companies HSE Management Systems ISO45001 and ISO14001.
* Control and retention of HSE records and undertake all risk assessments.
* Report all accidents and incidents through the established reporting process.
* Support preventive and corrective investigations to ensure the likelihood of an incident reoccurring.
* Promote and champion an environment of positive physical and mental wellbeing.
* Support projects to improve the HSE position of the business.
* Support the company’s internal audit schedule in line with the relevant HSE standards.
* Support HSE review meetings and group activity.
* Control of relevant ISO standards and compliance with specific regulations
* Proactively manage objectives and KPI’s and any other duties assigned to the role.
Key Requirements:
To apply for the HSE Advisor position based in Gainsborough you will need to hold a NEBOSH General Certificate and possess some Health, Safety or Environmental employment experience.
Skills and Ability
* Qualification in Health, Safety or Environmental.
* Experience of manufacturing, warehousing, or similar environment.
* Ability to carry out and understand internal audits to high standards.
* Evidence of updating HSE Management Systems, ISO45001 or ISO14001.
* Knowledge of accident and incident investigations and close out procedures.
* Ability to communicate requirements of the HSE management system to all levels of the business.
What’s on Offer:
