An exciting opportunity has developed for a Controls Engineer, the role requires working with other team members and the customer to deliver controls and powertrain engineering projects according to the plan.nYour Responsibilities:nSupport process for powertrain control requirements development.nDesign, simulate, implement, debug, test and research control and estimation algorithms for various electrical, mechanical, and thermal systems in powertrain systems.nEngage with suppliers and other stake holders to review hardware and software attributes.nDevelop the Software and Controls for the electrified powertrain.nQualificationsnEngineering/Science Degree (or equivalent).nAutomotive engineering knowledge/experience in design and validation for electrified powertrain systems.nExperience of automotive control systems software development, data logging and calibration tools.nWhy work through Contech's?nContechs are a leading Automotive, Design, Engineering, Technology & Innovation Recruitment Consultancy.
