Working for this award-winning infrastructure solutions business as an Ecologist, you’ll conduct ecological surveys, produce reports, and provide ecological advice, toolbox talks and support to vegetation management operatives and clients.
Salary – Circa £36,000 Per Annum + Company Van + Fuel Card
Location – Remote + Regular Travel to Sites around the West Midlands
Role Type – Permanent / Full Time / 40 Hours Per Week / Mon-Fri

The Role 
As an Ecologist, you will conduct ecological surveys and assessments, ensuring compliance with methodologies and licenses is adhered to. You will produce high-quality reports, including impact assessments, mitigation strategies, and habitat management plans.
Providing ecological advice and support to clients, you will liaise with statutory bodies, local authorities, and stakeholders.
Keeping up to date with ecological science and legislation, you will contribute to developing proposals and tenders and undertake training to enhance your expertise in your chosen area.
Most importantly, you’ll be making a difference to the protection of endangered and local species by undertaking this crucial work.
You’ll need
Relevant degree (Ecology, Animal management/behaviours or Zoology)
Ideally either a Great Crested Newt or Bat licence or at least one signature towards it
Full driving license
2-3 years’ experience in a similar role OR be a graduate with very strong voluntary / placement experience.
