Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the daily operations of the school, ensuring a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment. Drive continuous improvement in line with Independent School Standards and Ofsted frameworks. Oversee HR processes, including staff development and performance management. Uphold robust safeguarding practices as Designated Safeguarding Lead . Manage the effective deployment of teachers, teaching assistants and support staff. Foster strong partnerships with parents, carers, and external professionals. Champion a therapeutic and personalised approach to education that places the student at the centre. You will: Have proven leadership experience with a track record of driving school improvement. Be an experienced Senior Leader (Deputy or Assistant Head) ready to take the next step. Demonstrate a deep understanding of SEND , the SEND Code of Practice , and complex learning needs. Be confident in leading safeguarding, curriculum development and staff training. Be skilled in promoting high standards for behaviour, attendance, and inclusion. Bring experience from an independent or alternative provision setting.
