Tradewind is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant SEN school located in Warrington. This is your chance to embark on a rewarding journey where you'll play a crucial role in empowering students to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing tailored support and guidance to students with SEN, both in and out of the classroom.
Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).
Collaborating with teachers and SENCO to create inclusive learning environments.
Building strong rapport with students, fostering a positive and nurturing atmosphere.Requirements:
Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
Possession of relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is advantageous.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the unique needs of every student.
Ability to adapt and respond to the varying demands of a SEN environment.To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
