Cover people are seeking experienced and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work in our schools across Stockport. As a Teaching Assistant you will contribute to the academic and social development of the school’s students, whilst also creating a safe and secure environment.
Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant     Location: Stockport    Daily rate: £85- £95
The Role:
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs? As a Teaching Assistant you must be confident in managing challenging behaviour.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant you must:
Must hold an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
Experience working with individuals with Special Educational Needs and complex needs.
Patience and empathy when working with children with SEN.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students.
Excellent behaviour management skills.
Knowledge of SEN strategies and best practices with the ability to adapt to any situation.
Flexibility to work in different classes and subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing one-to-one support to children with SEN, helping them to participate in all aspects of the curriculum.
Supporting the educational and social development of children with special educational needs (SEN).
Assisting teachers in implementing individual education plans for pupils.
