We are working in partnership with our client who are a leading food manufacturer & distributor, servicing major national retailers, large food service groups and blue-chip corporations.

Key duties will include:
* Total ownership and accountability of production area
* Drive Health & Safety, Quality, Cost, reduction in waste and Performance within the areas.
* Review worker performance and identify training needs.
* Motivate team and drive efficiencies.
* Updating KPI reports and Monthly production performance.
* Lead change within the department.
* Regular meetings with Material and Production planners
* Monitor production levels and deliver on business demands.
* Continuous improvement activity
Candidate Requirements
* A food manufacturing and Supply Chain background with exposure to Warehouse & Transport.
* Production management experience
* Return to work and managing disciplinary process.
* Able to manage a challenging culture and look for development for the long term.
* Proven track record in identifying change and shaping operations.
* Able to work alone and have the desire to create change initiative.
* Have managed in excess of 100.
* Experience of creating and Delivering KPI's and Service delivery for Customer
* Have good written and verbal communication skills.
* Be results driven and commercially minded.
