As the Xero Bookkeeper you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of a business by ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with regulations, and providing valuable financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain records of financial transactions
Maintain accounts by posting, verifying and allocating transactions
Perform reconciliations
Maintain general ledger
Prepare trial balances
Preparing financial reports
Monitoring for variances from the projected budget
Assisting in running payroll
Assisting in generating sales invoicesSkills and Experience
Must have proficiency in Xero accounting software.
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reporting.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Good communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and staff.
Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Experience with payroll processing and management.
Can collaborate effectively with a cross-functional team.
